WASHINGTON (CNN) -- For those who may have forgotten, amid all the hoopla, January 1 also marks the beginning of a presidential election year.
As the presidential race heads into 'Y2K' overdrive, so do the candidates' ad campaigns.
CNN's Jeanne Meserve takes an in-depth look at the latest selection of political commercials, and how they will shape the 2000 presidential election.
