Review: Mad Catz Force Pack
(IDG) -- The Force Pack is Mad Catz' answer for rumbling for your Dreamcast games. Plug it into an expansion port in your controller and you're good to go. The red plastic area on top of the FP does exactly what you'd expect: it lights up when the rumbling occurs. A neat feature, but I doubt gamers will focusing on their Force Pack while they're getting their lights punched out in Ready 2 Rumble. It works the way it should, and you'll get a buzzing in your hands when you're getting knocked around in Ready 2 Rumble or hitting the side of another boat in Hydro Thunder. At a street price of around $24, it's not cheap but won't break the bank either. You don't need to stick to the standard Dreamcast beige/white as the Force Pack comes in yellow, blue, green, red, and purple. And it brings new meaning to the "Rumble" in Ready 2 Rumble.
