NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (CNN) -- Vice presidential hopeful Joe Lieberman was campaigning Tuesday in New Jersey as part of the Democratic ticket. But just 24 hours ago, Joe Lieberman the senator was pushing for his bid for re-election to the U.S. Senate in Connecticut.
