Fugitive on FBI's Ten Most Wanted list captured
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A fugitive on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list is in custody in Louisiana, charged with two murders and suspected in two others. Jesse James Caston, 35, was surrounded by law enforcement authorities, and gave himself up Wednesday after a standoff in his hometown of Lake Providence, Louisiana. Caston is charged with two counts of first-degree murder for the April 10 slaying of his wife, Angela Caston, and her friend Sharon McIntyre in Lake Providence in northeastern Louisiana. Authorities say Caston is a suspect in the shooting deaths of a father and son on a Mississippi River levee. The victims, James B. Kelly and his son James M. Kelly, are distant relatives of Caston, authorities said. New Orleans FBI agent Charles Matthews told CNN the relatively minor federal charges against Caston will not be pursued now that Caston is in custody and faces state murder charges. The FBI says it will not fill the vacancy on the Ten Most Wanted slot for a few days. RELATED STORIES: For more LAW news, myCNN.com will bring you news from the areas and subjects you select.
