The Corrs' mix Celtic, modern pop on 'In Blue'

(CNN) -- Sure, there's a hint of Celtic in The Corrs' latest album, and why not? The group does hail from Ireland.

But listeners are more likely to be struck by The Corrs' smooth, melodic, modern-pop sound.

"In Blue," the three-woman, one-man band's recently released album, already has topped the charts in 10 countries. Now, the group hopes it will get a comparable reception in the United States.

The four siblings recently performed on CNN's Showbiz Today.
