| Separatists claim responsibility for car bomb in SpainMADRID, Spain (CNN) -- The Basque separatist group ETA claimed responsibility for a car bomb on Sunday that exploded in a residential area in the city of Guetxo, leaving at least one person injured. According to the Basque regional police, ETA members issued a telephone warning about the attack to a local newspaper. Police arrived on the scene and were clearing the area around 12:25 a.m. when the bomb exploded, scattering debris for 80 meters. One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries from flying glass. Officials did not say who the car belonged to, or why that neighborhood was a target. Guetxo is about 180 miles northwest of Madrid, near the coastal city of Bilbao. ETA has been fighting for the past 30 years for an independent homeland for the Basque people, who live in northern Spain and southern France.
