Video: Hats off to first ladies' headwear

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Laura Bush will be following in the footsteps of many first ladies when she dons a hat for her husband's inauguration.

Her mother-in-law, Barbara Bush, was one of the few who went hatless on her husband's big day. Jackie Kennedy's pillbox was considered the height of fashion, while Hillary Clinton's choice of chapeau was widely ridiculed.

CNN's Jeanne Moos talks to the man who designed Laura Bush's topper and takes a look back at first lady hat history.
