'Everquest' invokes 'Dungeons and Dragons' spirit

(CNN) -- Bards, wizards, trolls and dragons filled the imaginations of youth as they played the tabletop game of "Dungeons and Dragons" about 20 years ago.

Those fantasy creatures now fill the screens of nearly half a million Americans' computer monitors, as they pay $10 per month to enter the virtual world of "Everquest."
