(IDG) -- Project Justice on the Dreamcast continues the tradition of outlandish fighting established by Rival Schools on the PlayStation. Playing as teams of three teenage-student fighters -- along with some adult faculty members -- you take on, well, rival schools in a battle for scholastic supremacy.
Although some of the new fighters are a washout and the game lacks the mini-games that made Rival Schools shine, there are enough new techniques and unique gameplay aspects, including the ability to counter Team-Up Attacks, to make it worth your time. Dreamcast fighting fans and Rival Schools fans alike should check out this Project.
Graphics
Score: 4.5 (out of 5)
Project Justice's excellent visuals bring the fighters to life with color and fine details. The visual effects shine, too, though occasional slowdown and some bulky character polygons hurt the overall score.

Sound
Score: 4.0
An effective variety of yelps, smacks, and other fighting effects excel. The mixed music selections range from perfectly fitting to downright distracting.
Controls
Score: 4.5
Justice's controls are like those of the Street Fighter EX Plus titles -- i.e., easy to pick up and play. With some characters, it's a little too easy to button-mash your way to victory.
Fun Factor
Score: 4.5
Dreamcast and Rival Schools fans alike will enjoy Project Justice. Not only does the game feature a fun fighting engine, but the humorous touches are also an excellent plus.
