'Tony Hawk' and 'Spider Man' come to the GameCube

(IDG) -- Activision joins the first wave of third-party publishers to announce its support for the highly anticipated console system by announcing the development of "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" and "Spider-Man: The Movie" for the GameCube.
Activision promises that "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" for the GC will feature the signature gameplay, top-rated skaters, and controls that have made the franchise a critical and commercial success.
"Spider-Man: The Movie" will enable fans to play as the fledgling super hero in highly detailed 3-D environments as they battle the forces of evil.
