Satanist murder probe in GermanyBERLIN, Germany -- A man found dead with 66 stab wounds is the victim of a suspected Satanist murder, prosecutors in Germany say. They say a couple has admitted killing the man, an acquaintance, in a frenzied attack. He had also been beaten with a hammer. Police detained the couple in Jena, eastern Germany, after a nationwide search following the discovery on Monday of the body of a 33-year-old man at their home in Bochum, western Germany. Investigating officers found satanist symbols and a triple-bladed knife at the site of the murder. Police said several people who knew the couple said they had been involved in satanist activities. Officers said the murder happened last Friday. |
