Two detained at Abu Dhabi airport

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CNN) -- Two men were taken into custody by onboard security officers Sunday when they announced they had a bomb on a Royal Jordanian Airlines flight heading to Abu Dhabi from Amman, airline and airport officials told CNN.
A subsequent search of the two men -- whom officials described as Libyan nationals -- found no bomb, officials said.
The suspects, one of whom is in his 20s and one who's in his 30s, had told a flight attendant they were going to blow up the plane, the officials reported. There were 152 passengers on the plane, 12 crew members and four security officers.
Officials identified the suspects as Mohammed Hussein and Abdu Nasser Faraj.
Police and authorities from both the UAE and Jordan are investigating the incident.
Royal Jordanian Airlines Flight 602 landed at the Abu Dhabi airport at 3:10 a.m. local time (6:10 p.m. ET Saturday). The two men were taken away, and the rest of the passengers were taken off the plane and to a waiting area, where they and their luggage were thoroughly searched, officials said.
Authorities then searched the Airbus A-340 using bomb-sniffing dogs, but no explosives were found, officials said.
Security at most Middle Eastern airports is very tight. Royal Jordanian Airlines also has its own security guards who re-screen passengers before they board.
