(CNN) -- Four decades after revolutionizing pop music, the Fab Four have topped the charts again.

"The Beatles Anthology" DVD, released in April, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's music video chart and marked the biggest music video DVD box set debut in the SoundScan era.

The anthology was first shown on television in 1995, when members of the Beatles told their story in a 10-hour series. The DVD includes this material, plus an additional 81-minute disc of special features, many of which have never been seen before.

Among the footage on the extra disc is the last jam session of Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr from the 1994 making of the anthology.

"All those years we played together, you know it's somehow, it's made a very deep groove in our memories, and it doesn't take much to lock in," Harrison said in an interview included in the anthology.

McCartney's, Starr's and Harrison's recollections, along with interviews John Lennon gave during his life, make up the anthology's narration. (Harrison died of cancer in 2001, and Lennon was killed by a fan in 1980.)

TMR gained access to the team that put the DVD together and toured Abbey Road Studios in London, where the Beatles recorded many of their best-known songs. Click on the interactive gallery to learn more about the creation of "The Beatles Anthology" DVD.
