The kids cable channel is close to greenlighting a 13-episode order for the series starring 12-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears, who already serves as a cast member on the Nick sketch comedy show "All That."

The untitled series is expected to join Nick's primetime lineup at an unspecified time next year. Nickelodeon declined comment.

In other Nick news, the network announced additional episode orders for four returning series -- "The Fairly OddParents" (30 episodes), "The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius" (10), "ChalkZone" (10), "My Life as a Teenage Robot" (13) -- and the new "Rugrats" spinoff "All Grown Up" (22).
