Story Tools

MILAN, Italy -- American cyclist David Clinger has sealed a ride with Mario Cipollini's Domina Vacanze team for next season, the Italian team have announced.

The 26-year-old from California, who is a former member of US Postal, has claimed only one career victory -- winning the First Union Invitational race in 2002.

Clinger has been a professional for six years and rode with the Festina team before moving to US Postal in 2002.

Last season he rode for another American team, Prime Alliance.
