JAKARTA, Indonesia (CNN) -- A small homemade pipebomb has exploded in Indonesia's parliament complex, causing only minor damage and no injuries.
The explosion took place -- between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. (0130 to 0200 GMT) -- in a room housing the central air conditioning unit, slightly damaging a wall and blowing out some windows, police said.
There were no immediate claims of responsibility. Police are investigating.
There were no legislators in Parliament at the time of the blast owing to a summer break.
The blast -- the latest in a series of small bombings in Indonesia since the devastating attacks on Bali last October -- comes days after police arrested nine Islamic militants suspected of planning bombings in shopping malls and churches and assassinations of top Indonesian figures.
A huge cache of explosives, detonations and weapons were also seized. (Full story)
Police said the men arrested were suspected members of Jemaah Islamiyah, the al Qaeda-linked militant group accused in the October 12 Bali bombings.
