Businesses have always had a moral responsibility from an ethical, social and definitely environmental perspective. Effluents, harmful chemicals and poisonous gases seem to unfortunately coexist with our daily lives. Businesses must strongly commit towards ensuring a safe and healthy environment. We lead very toxic lives, let us be gentle with the earth. Ranjan Matthew, Pune, India
Yes, I dated a co-worker, and we have been happily married now for 17 years. Our boss said we could not both stay in the same division, but we both got better jobs within the agency. Lots of couples we know met at this (government) agency. Susan Pettee, Washington DC
With respect to the Swiss Re building in London, new buildings of this size take years of planning and development, in that time the planning culture will change because of economic events and terrorist "9/11"-style ones. Good leaders are needed -- those who have the vision, courage and the persistence to drive the organization to perform at the optimum. Susan V. Rabano, San Francisco, California
My opinion on the wireless office is a little mixed. I see the great potential, in the efficiency, but on the other hand, I do not like the idea of loosing the personal contact with your co-workers. All in all I think it offers an opportunity to be more spend the time between meetings more efficiently, but as an alternative to a traditional desk, I say no thanks. Claus, Copenhagen, Denmark
Thank god managers in the US have not been idiotic enough (yet) to implement psychometric screening standards. As I understand it, we still use resume word searches, recruiting firms, word of mouth, and nepotism to pick out most candidates. Xavier Mandeng, U.S.
