Klitschko vows to return to ring
BERLIN, Germany -- Vladimir Klitschko has vowed to carry on boxing despite his surprise defeat by American Lamon Brewster in last weekend's WBO heavyweight title fight.
"I will be in the ring again," the Ukrainian told German television station ZDF.
"I don't know what happened. It's not a mental problem. There's something else."
Klitschko, 28, was knocked out in the fifth round and taken to hospital for a precautionary brain scan.
He will undergo further tests to check whether he might have a medical problem.
Klitschko's defeat was the third of his career, sparking widespread calls for the former Olympic champion to quit.
Klitschko's older brother Vitali fights South African Corrie Sanders for the WBC title on April 24.
