PRAGUE, Czech Republic -- Borussia Moenchengladbach have signed Czech Euro 2004 striker Marek Heinz, the German Bundesliga club announced on their Web site.
The 27-year-old, who has signed a four-year contract, had been playing for Czech champions Banik Ostrava for whom he scored 19 goals last season.
He previously had spells in Germany with Hamburg and Armenia Bielefeld.
Heinz scored two goals in the Czech Republic's run to the European championship semifinals in Portugal.
