MADRID, Spain -- Stefano Fiore's days at Valencia look numbered after the Italian international refused to come on as a substitute in a Champions League game.
Valencia coach Claudio Ranieri has blocked Fiore from training with the rest of the first team squad, and the player himself has requested a move in the January transfer window.
"As the news has circulated all we can do is confirm it," confirmed a spokesman for the Primera Liga side.
Fiore, who moved to Valencia from Italian side Lazio, refused to come on in the 75th minute in the Spanish title holders Champions League Group G tie against Inter Milan on Tuesday.
