No survivors in China plane crash
BEIJING, China (CNN) -- An Azerbaijani cargo plane has crashed in northwest China killing all seven crew members, according to Xinhua news agency.
The Russian-made Ilyushin Il-76 cargo jet crashed shortly after take-off at around 10:50 a.m. (0250 GMT), and according to Xinhua was "burnt and destroyed."
Search teams were picking through the rubble looking for flight recorders.
The place crashed into farmland, the report said. No one on the ground was injured.
The plane took off from Urumqi airport, the capital of the Xinjiang region, and was on its way to Baku in Azerbaijan.
