LONDON, England (CNN) -- A 17-year-old suspect arrested by anti-terrorism police in Britain has been charged with conspiracy to cause explosions with intent to injure or damage property.

The suspect will appear at the Bow Street Magistrate's Court Wednesday, where the court will be sitting as a youth court, London's Metropolitan Police said in a statement.

The suspect is one of 11 people arrested in three countries on suspicion of terrorist activities.

In Britain, police arrested eight men -- ages 17 to 32 -- in raids in and around London on March 30.

Police seized computer hard drives in the raids, and have been studying them for evidence of possible links to terrorist groups or individuals outside Britain.

Police also recovered a half ton of ammonium nitrate, a fertilizer that can be used to make a powerful explosive. It was found in a self-storage locker.

Two other men were arrested as part of the sweep, one in Canada and another in Saudi Arabia.
