Democrats on Roberts vote
(CNN) -- The 44 Democratic senators split when it came to voting for Chief Justice John Roberts -- 22 votes for the nominee, 22 against. Of the five Democratic senators viewed as potential presidential candidates, four out of five voted against Roberts. Sen. Russ Feingold of Wisconsin was the only potential candidate to vote for him.
