9-10PM
VERONICA MARS (UPN, TV-PG-LV) Gosh, do we love the Mars. Case in point: this episode, in which our beloved teen detective (Kristen Bell) uncovers a larger crime while helping a classmate find a lost dog and gets buddy Weevil out of trouble (again) while piecing together his part in the murder mystery of her best friend, Lilly Kane. She also finds time to snog Lilly's ex, Logan -- and, incidentally, help him look into the creep his half sister's dating. As ever, creator Rob Thomas keeps us guessing by interweaving more intriguing mysteries than we bargained for while constantly moving the line between good and evil. Thanks, UPN, for giving us another season. -- Jennifer Armstrong
