(Entertainment Weekly) -- Entertainment Weekly's daily guide to notable shows:
10-11PM
SEASON PREMIERE: THE DEAD ZONE (USA, TV-14) No way purists would've predicted that Anthony Michael Hall could follow Christopher Walken as psychic Johnny Smith. But Hall has matured past '80s geek-god status as this fourth-season opener shows. This episode has the goods: visions from the future, a murder, and the end of the world as we know it. If only Johnny could tell us what became of that kid in Weird Science. -- Paul Katz
EW Grade: B
8-10PM
JANE GOODALL'S WHEN ANIMALS TALK (Animal Planet, TV-G) If all they're going to do is tell us to stop watching them have sex or call them bitches, I don't want to hear it.
9-10PM
SEASON PREMIERE: STRONG MEDICINE (Lifetime) This episode should be Rick Schroder's big debut. But despite a valiant effort, the former Blue man is upstaged by a bullet in the abdomen of sassy female doc Luisa Delgado (Rosa Blasi, above, with Schroder) and a surprise proposal. Too bad it's not an invite to join the sexy surgeons on Grey's Anatomy. C Jeremy Helligar
9:30-10PM
AMERICAN DAD (Fox, TV-14-D) Francine throws a block party so Stan can interrogate profile meet the neighbors.
10-11PM
SEASON PREMIERE: MISSING (Lifetime, TV-14) A new cast member starts. Sorry Starlets, Torquemada Vivica is still gainfully employed.
10-11PM
SEASON PREMIERE: BRIDEZILLAS (WE, TV-PG) Here's the question: Do you do the intervention when the Bridezilla demands her bridesmaids dye their hair the same color, or wait till she insists the carpet match the drapes?
