Klitschko to defend against Rahman
![]() WBC champion Klitschko has not fought this year due to a back injury CHICAGO -- Ukraine's Vitali Klitschko will defend his World Boxing Council heavyweight title against Hasim Rahman in Las Vegas on November 12 or 19. Promoter Bob Arum has won the rights for the bout with a £12m bid, beating Don King and a third bid from K2 Promotions - the agency of the Klitschko brothers Vitali and Vladimir. "We are very happy. Arum has none of the two boxers under contract and is neutral. There will be no problems with him," said Klitschko adviser Bernd Boente. Arum has not promoted a heavyweight title fight since George Foreman beat Germany's Axel Schulz in 1995. Klitschko defended his title against Danny Williams in December, but a back injury has denied him another bout since then. American Rahman, a former champion, won the right to meet Klitschko last weekend with a victory over Monte Barrett
