Valgaeren has signed a three-year deal with Bruges

BRUSSELS, Belgium -- Club Bruges have signed Belgium defender Joos Valgaeren from Celtic as a replacement for David Rozehnal, who is switching to Paris Saint Germain.

Central defender Valgaeren, 29, has returned to his homeland as a free agent, signing a three-year deal with Bruges.

He picked up three Scottish Premier League titles and three Scottish Cups with Celtic.

Bruges also said 25-year-old Czech Republic international Rozehnal will join PSG on a four-year contract after two seasons in Belgium.

Bruges are without a coach after Trond Sollied departed for Greek club Olympiakos in acrimonious circumstances on Friday.
