COPENHAGEN, Denmark (Reuters) -- Sweden striker Marcus Allback is joining FC Copenhagen on a free transfer from Bundesliga side Hansa Rostock, the Danish club said on Thursday. Allback, who turns 32 next week, had moved to Rostock last season after a two-year spell at English Premier League side Aston Villa, where he struggled to make an impact. The striker, who has scored 23 goals in 50 appearances for Sweden, has also played for Dutch club Heerenveen and Italy's Bari. Copenhagen also announced they would be signing 28-year-old Nigerian forward Peter Ijeh from Sweden's IFK Gothenburg. The transfer fee was not disclosed but Danish daily Ekstra Bladet put it at around 5.6 million Danish crowns ($906,200).
