(CNN) -- It has been 30 years since the Vietnam War ended and now this country in Southeast Asia is one of the world's fastest growing economies.

The country is rapidly becoming a magnet for investors and is about to join the World Trade Organisation (WTO).

Business Traveller talks to Vietnam's Prime Minister Phan Van Khai about the country's development and chats with some of the country's key business people to analyze what is drawing investors to Vietnam.

Vietnam's economy is racing ahead. It is scheduled to join the WTO in 2006 and Vietnam's biggest trading partner is its former adversary -- the United States.

Vietnam's highly skilled and cheap workforce is now becoming a hub for outsourcing and investment, so much so that even China is finding it a favorable destination to invest in.
