And though my heart aches for all the victims, there is one 11-year-old boy that I am so very concerned about. His name is Eranda Nalin Kumara Rathnayake, DOB 2/1/93. I have sponsored Eranda for over 2 years through the Christians Children's Fund. I contacted CCF on December 28, but I was told it was too early to tell where Eranda was. His return address on his correspondence is the following: Watambe Community Project, P.O. Box 2125, Colombo, Sri Lanka I pray that Eranda and his family have survived this catastrophe. I want to help them, but I need to know there whereabouts.

Update: I received an email from Bill Roth, and he is ok. He was up in the mountains in the center of Sri Lanka at the time of the tsunami and was not adversely affected. He is back at his home in Bangkok, Thailand.

My sister Indra Malini Wijesinghe disappeared from Galle bus stand on the day of the disaster. She was safe in the bus. She got down to save her husband and daughter. They were saved by her by pushing them into the bus, but she could not escape the next tidel wave. She was so brave to look after her daughter and husband. She is missing since then. The body is not found. Daughter and husband witnessed her helplessly taken away by the wave. We still live in hope of finding her. Daughter and husband have still not recovered from the shock.
