Car bomb kills four in Beirut
YOUR E-MAIL ALERTSBEIRUT, Lebanon (CNN) -- A car bomb exploded in an eastern Beirut suburb Monday morning, killing at least four people, a Red Cross worker said. A high-ranking security source said a high-ranking Lebanese official may have been the target and may have died in the blast. Journalist Anthony Mills called it "a scene of destruction," saying windows were broken in buildings for hundreds of meters. The blast comes as the U.N. investigator probing the assassination of Lebanon's former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri delivers his second report to the group's chief Kofi Annan.
