(CNN) -- Denise Rampolla joined the "New You Resolution" program to find ways to improve her family's diet and workout habits.

Both Denise and her husband are members of Wyoming's "Cowboy Guard." She's the 153rd Airlift Wing Family Readiness and Support Services Coordinator. Together, these parents of four boys hoped to shed a few pounds and lessen their risk of developing heart disease, a problem that runs in the family.

But finding the time to prepare healthier foods and meet with a trainer was a challenge.

"I'm just multitasked all the time," Rampolla said.

During the original two months of the New You program, Rampolla began exercising regularly and incorporating more fresh foods into her diet. The result was a trimmer Denise.

Now, nine months after her journey began, Rampolla comes back for a check-up. Follow her progress on The Buddy Blog and on "American Morning" beginning Monday, September 18, 6-10 a.m. ET.
