(Entertainment Weekly) -- "Electric" TV, "Stoned" music, and eight other things we recommend this week:

1. "Smallville" Supe's life was turned upside down in an explosive 100th episode -- he's engaged, Mr. Kent dies, he's not engaged -- and the WB show soars again.

2. "Neil Young: Heart of Gold" Hey, hey! My, my! Jonathan Demme's elegiac concert film captures the rock legend performing his 2005 album, ''Prairie Wind.''

3. "The Best of the Electric Company" Morgan Freeman, Bill Cosby, and others power a four-DVD collection of 20 classic episodes from PBS' grooviest show.

4. Matisyahu Get down with the Hasidic hipster who adds a Rastafarian vibe to his hip-hoppity songs of love and healing. (http://www.matismusic.com/external link)

5. "The Brooklyn Follies," Paul Auster Still composing the music of chance, Auster spins another brainy tale of fate and coincidence set in New York City's finest borough.

6. "After the Ruins, 1906 and 2006" In the handsome companion book to an acclaimed exhibit at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, photographer Mark Klett contrasts the city's current urban landscape with images taken after the earth-shaking tragedy a century ago.

7. "Stoned," Lewis Taylor This soulful Brit's American debut recalls the magic of Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder with a style all its own.

8. Olympic Figure Skating Sasha, Kimmie, and Emily: We're ready for you to triple-lutz and double-axel your way into our hearts.

9. "The Tomorrow Show" On a fascinating two-DVD set, New Wave and punk luminaries are showcased and cross-examined by a clueless Tom Snyder. Great music. Surreal TV.

10. "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" Quirky inventor and resourceful dog contend with romantic rivals and mutant hares in this Oscar-nominated gem, on DVD.
