(CNN) -- Jarno Trulli, Italian Formula One driver, answers questions from you.

Q. At what age did you get your first car and what was it?

Trulli: "I was 18 years old when I got my first car -- it was a Renault Clio."

Q. You are a very good qualifying driver. How do you get yourself into the right frame of mind?

"Obviously I try to be fully focused in pushing the limits without making any mistakes. It is something that I learned during my karting career. Basically there is not such a big difference between a kart and a Formula One car. It is just a matter of size and speed."

Q. What inspires you?

Trulli: "The sunshine"

Q. Where did you spend your last holiday?

Trulli: "In the Maldives"

Q. Do you feel that your driving has improved as a result of switching teams from Renault to Toyota?

Trulli: "You never stop learning and improving yourself. A driver always learns a lot by switching teams, even if the experience learnt is very little to do with actual driving style and more about relating to people and business relations."

Q. How do you and team-mate Ralf Schumacher compete against each other but work as a team?

Trulli: "The level of the competition between me and Ralf is as high as is the great respect and technical collaboration between each other."

To drive for Ferrari would be a great career achievement, says Trulli.

Q. What is your favorite word?

Trulli: "'Papo.' It's the nickname I have for my son Enzo. I love saying it."

Q. Do you think women should be allowed to race on the F1 circuit?

Trulli: "I absolutely believe that yes they should be allowed."

Q. Was it more people than money that got you where you are?

Trulli: "Sure. Unfortunately for me, money wasn't a help because it wasn't there. I had to find a different way to achieve my goals without using money. I had to find the strength for myself from the people around me and obviously being at the right place at the right moment with the right people was also very important and the most important thing as well as being lucky."

Q. As a child, did you take an interest in sport?

Trulli: "Since I was young I have always played many sports because I like sports. Also, I come from a family that considers sport important. When you're growing up, sport helps you to learn about life, how to communicate with people and to learn about what is happening in life. In life you don't always win so with sport you learn how to lose. Sometimes it feels bad but that is a part of life."

Q. Does mother worry about your safety?

Trulli: "Of course she does, my mum, my wife, my whole family. They know about Formula One and about the dangers, but I have never had a big accident in Formula One so I just carry on."

Q. Do you ever want to drive for Ferrari?

Trulli: "Any driver in the world would want to drive a Ferrari, It's a need, just to say that you've driven for them, 'Thank you, that was great.' I am not desperate to drive for them, in terms of from a pure driver, career point of view, because a driver wants to be number one. He wants to become a champion. If you achieve driving for Ferrari then it is a career achievement, it's a plus, you can say you have done it."
