Wing Habana has been recalled by the Springboks for the second Test.

DURBAN, South Africa -- South Africa wing Bryan Habana has been recalled by coach Jake White for the second Test against Scotland in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.

The 23-year-old Bulls back, who scored 12 tries for the Springboks in the 2005 season, missed the last few weeks of the Super 14 tournament with an ankle injury but has been passed fit by coaching staff

Scotland coach Frank Hadden has responded to last Saturday's crushing 36-16 first Test defeat by making an unprecedented six changes.

White also named a new center pairing following injuries to Jean de Villiers and Jaque Fourie, who are both out for several weeks with cracked ribs

De Villiers picked up his injury during the 36-16 win over the Scots in the first test in Durban on Saturday while Fourie suffered a blow in training on Tuesday.

Inside center Wynand Olivier will make his first test start after his debut as a replacement for de Villiers last week. Andre Snyman moves from the left wing to center in place of Fourie.

White kept faith with his pack with hooker John Smit captaining the team for the 28th time.

Scotland lock Alastair Kellock celebrated his 25th birthday by being selected to start in Port Elizabeth as the tourists sought to add bulk to their pack.

Left wing Simon Webster, flyhalf Gordon Ross, hooker Dougie Hall, tighthead prop Craig Smith and number eight Jon Petrie are the other new faces in the line-up.

Allister Hogg will move from number eight to openside flanker. The players who made way are Sean Lamont, Dan Parks, Scott Lawson, Bruce Douglas, Scott Murray and Donnie Macfadyen.

"This is the first time I've made such sweeping changes and it will be interesting to see how they cope," Hadden told reporters.

Hadden said the size of the forwards at his disposal had been an important selection consideration.

"This is the biggest pack we can muster to try and minimise the gap in size between the teams," he said.

"That reflects where we see the heart of the battle on Saturday."

South Africa's heavier, more physical forwards subdued the Scots in the first Test and laid a sound platform for the four tries the home side scored.

Loosehead prop Gavin Kerr is the sole survivor of the front row that started the match in Durban. The Scots have also named five forwards among their replacements.

"Everybody realised we can't afford to start like we did last weekend and there's no doubt the scrum worked better in the second half," Hadden said.
