LONDON, England -- The Fed Cup final between Belgium and Italy will take place in Charleroi, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) have said. The September 16-17 tie will be held at the 6,200-capacity Spiroudome arena. World number two Kim Clijsters and French Open champion Justine Henin-Hardenne are expected to team up for hosts Belgium, who are aiming to win their second Fed Cup title following their success in 2001. Francesca Schiavone and Flavia Pennetta will spearhead the Italian challenge. Belgium have lost all six previous meetings against Italy in the women's team competition, although Clijsters and Henin-Hardenne were missing from the side that were defeated 4-1 in the last encounter in the 2002 World Group quarterfinals.
