Gargorov will miss Bulgarian start
YOUR E-MAIL ALERTSSOFIA, Bulgaria -- CSKA Sofia captain Emil Gargorov has not fully recovered from a knee injury and will miss the start of the second half of the Bulgarian league championship. "He resumed training but he's still not fit," said CSKA coach Miodrag Jesic. "He will definitely miss Saturday's match against Botev and remains doubtful for next week's away game with Litex." CSKA Sofia led the 15-team league into the winter break with 40 points from 14 matches, seven points ahead of Levski Sofia. The 25-year-old Gargorov, who has scored 42 goals in 80 league matches since joining from city rivals Lokomotiv Sofia, missed Bulgaria's friendly against Macedonia on Wednesday. The gifted midfielder has recently extended his contract with the Bulgarian champions until 2008.
