Tunisia sealed their place in a third successive finals after a nerve-jangling 2-2 draw at home to north African rivals Morocco, who unluckily failed to qualify despite remaining unbeaten throughout qualifying. Tunisia's qualification was based around a well-organised backline, in which Ajax's Trabelsi and Bolton's Jaidi excelled, and a potent attack which netted 25 goals in their 10 matches including hitting seven past Malawi. Naturalised Brazilian Dos Santos is small and nippy and will cause problems for opposition defenses while coach Lemerre will be eager to put the debacle of France's poor 2002 performance behind him.
