![]() Rosicky looks for a soft landing in the friendly against Saudi Arabia SPECIAL REPORTPRAGUE, Czech Republic -- Tomas Rosicky will miss the Czech Republic's World Cup warm-up against Costa Rica on Tuesday because of a thigh injury. Rosicky, who last week signed for Arsenal for eight million pounds ($14.91m), could not train with his team-mates on Sunday after picking up the injury in the friendly against Saudi Arabia on Friday. Officials said the midfielder spent Sunday undergoing rehabilitation on the leg injury and will sit out the match in the northern city of Jablonec. The injury adds to the woes of coach Karel Brueckner, who is already without the services of midfielder Vladimir Smicer who suffered a setback in his recovery from a leg injury last week and may not play at all in Germany. In addition, striker Jan Koller is still coming back to fitness after several months out following knee surgery, as is fellow striker Vratislav Lokvenc. "We'd like to play at least one half with our first choice line-up, but we won't do it if it involves any risks," Brueckner said. The Czechs play Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday in their last warm-up match before facing the United States in the tournament on June 12. The Czech Republic also face Italy and Ghana in their World Cup group games.
