Henry on target as France impress
Henry moved into second place in France's all-time goalscoring list
LENS, France -- Thierry Henry and Sylvain Wiltord each scored Wednesday to help France beat Denmark 2-0 in a World Cup warmup match at Lens.
Henry scored his 32nd international goal in the 12th minute, moving him into second place and nine behind Michel Platini on France's all-time scorers list.
Wiltord's 26th international goal came from the penalty spot in the 76th as France played with greater fluency than in Saturday's 1-0 win over Mexico.
They were solidly backed by home support at Stade Bollaert where the cheers were in stark contrast to the jeers that had shocked the players at Stade de France on Saturday.
Henry missed further chances to score, but caused problems throughout for the Denmark defense, and left the field to a standing ovation.
The striker was playing for the first time since Arsenal lost to FC Barcelona in the Champions League final two weeks ago.
"Victories now don't really count but it's always nice to win," France coach Raymond Domenech said.
"I don't really have any concerns. I know how good the players in this group are. There's still some fine-tuning to do before it gets real."
France have one remaining friendly against China at Saint-Etienne on June 7 and travel to Germany the following day.
Les Bleus open their World Cup campaign against Switzerland on June 13, and then face South Korea and Togo.
