![]() Cocu is confident that he is fully fit after his thigh injury. LEIPZIG, Germany -- Dutchmen Phillip Cocu and Wesley Sneijder were ready to start the World Cup opener against Serbia & Montenegro on Sunday after coming through a final training session on Saturday. The midfielders, suffering injuries to a thigh and ankle respectively, joined the group during the session in the Zentralstadion after working out separately from the squad this week. "The most important is that I can start fit and without any further risk," Cocu told a news conference. "I did my job this week and normally I will regain my rhythm pretty quickly." SPECIAL REPORTBoth are expected to start the Group C match on Sunday, while playmaker Rafael van der Vaart will be on the bench after missing the warm-up with ankle problems. Van Basten expects his first opponents to start with striking duo Mateja Kezman and Savo Milosevic up front.
