STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Fredrik Ljungberg will miss Sweden's European Championship qualifier at Iceland on Wednesday after injuring his calf during the 2-0 win against Spain on Saturday.
The Arsenal midfield player had an MRI scan on Monday and will travel to London for treatment, the Swedish Football Association said.
Group F leaders Sweden are already missing midfielders Anders Svensson and Tobias Linderoth for the trip to Reykjavik.
Svensson is suspended after collecting two yellow cards, while Linderoth's wife is due to give birth.
Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still not available after falling out with coach Lars Lagerback. Sweden top the group after winning their first three games against Latvia, Liechtenstein and Spain.
Denmark blow
Denmark goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen and striker Nicklas Bendtner will miss Wednesday's Group F qualifier in Liechtenstein.
Sorensen injured a shoulder and was substituted during Saturday's 0-0 draw at home to Northern Ireland and was replaced by Jesper Christiansen.
Christiansen is expected to keep his place, with Brondby keeper Casper Ankergren called up to the squad as cover.
Bendtner injured ligaments in his left knee and will be replaced by Jesper Bech or Dennis Sorensen.
Striker Dennis Rommedahl, who missed the Northern Ireland match, is also doubtful for the Liechtenstein game.
