VIENNA, Austria -- Austrian Bundesliga title contenders Pasching have been hit by the surprise resignations of joint coaches Milan Djuricic and Milan Miklavic. A statement on the club's Web site said the two had stepped down "totally unexpectedly and for personal reasons". Pasching are second in the standings although they trail runaway leaders Salzburg by seven points. The club said goalkeeping coach Fuad Djulic and captain Michael Baur would take charge of training until further notice. Tuesday's announcement marked the second managerial departure in Austria's top division within 24 hours. On Monday reigning champions Austria Vienna sacked Frenkie Schinkels after slumping to bottom place. He was replaced on Tuesday by ex-Pasching and Rapid Vienna coach Georg Zellhofer. |
