CAIRO, Egypt -- Egyptian internationals Ibrahim Said and Amr Zaki are to start trials at English Premier League club Sheffield United, their Cairo club Zamalek have said.

The pair, who both played for Egypt in their African Nations Cup winning side at the start of the year, are scheduled to spend a week in England.

They will rejoin their Zamalek team-mates for the Arab Champions League match against CA Bordj Bou Arreridj of Algeria in Cairo on December 11.

The 23-year-old striker Zaki, who scored twice in the league on Sunday, recently joined Zamalek after an unsuccessful six months with Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow.

Defender Said, 27, spent five months at Sheffield United's Premiership rivals Everton in 2003.
