Donald returns to the BMW event after tying for 18th on his debut in 2005.

LONDON, England -- Briton Luke Donald and Adam Scott of Australia have confirmed their entries for this month's BMW Championship at Wentworth, the European Tour have said.

World No. 9 Scott, 25, who has won five times on the European circuit and five times in the U.S., last played at the event two years ago when he finished 11th.

Donald, ranked tenth, claimed his second U.S. PGA Tour title with a two-shot victory at the Honda Classic in Florida in March.

The 28-year-old Englishman made his BMW debut last year, tying for 18th.

Donald should have plenty of local support as he was born in High Wycombe, 24 kilometers from the Surrey course.

Argentina's Angel Cabrera will begin the defence of his BMW title on May 25.

The BMW, formerly known as the PGA Championship, is the flagship event of the European Tour.
