Rain holds up Wie title challenge
![]() Wie will have to wait until Sunday to challenge the men again. INCHEON, South Korea -- Rain washed out the third round of the SK Telecom Open on Saturday, frustrating Michelle Wie's hopes of a good finish after she had become the first woman to make the cut in a major men's tour event for 61 years. The Hawaiian schoolgirl will tee off on Sunday for the final round in joint 17th place after firing a three-under 69 in the second round. Organizers cancelled play on Saturday due to high winds and heavy rains. They have shortened the event at Incheon, west of Seoul, to 54 holes. After 36 holes, the 16-year-old Wie was at five under par, six strokes off the lead in a group of players tied for 17th. Prom Meesawat of Thailand and Iain Steel of Malaysia lead the tournament. Wie is scheduled to tee-off at 0150 GMT on Sunday.
