Singh is Euro player of the month

LONDON, England -- India's Jeev Milkha Singh has been named European Tour Golfer of the Month for November, following his big win in the season-ending Volvo Masters at Valderrama.

Singh's win in Spain was at the end of October, but he promptly followed that up with a third place finish in the Hong Kong Open, a performance that sealed his first Asian Tour Order of Merit title.

He then scored back-to-back victories in the Casio World Open and the Golf Nippon Series JT Cup on the Japan Golf Tour which saw him move into the world's top 50 for the first time.

He follows on from Ireland's Padraig Harrington, who took the award in October after winning the European Order of Merit title for the first time, after finishing second to Singh at Valderrama
