(CNN) -- We normally travel for business, but on this month's show we travel for pleasure and for profit, searching for that perfect second home.

Richard Quest takes the show to Cape Town, South Africa, one of the most popular places to buy property.

Housing prices have doubled in the last decade, and many attribute this increase to foreign buyers. The government is talking about imposing an immediate moratorium on all foreigners buying and selling property in South Africa.

So, what are the issues the business traveler needs to consider when buying abroad?

Where's hot?

Bulgaria is now one of the hottest places to buy, both as an investment and for holiday purposes. It's relatively cheap prices, planned ascent to the EU, and increasingly popular skiing resorts are behind its growing attraction.

We talk to two buyers and find out what makes this country more attractive than traditional places like France and Spain.

Setting up house

New laws, access to foreign mortgages, and unforeseen costs. These are some of the many pitfalls one can expect to encounter when purchasing a property abroad. We get some practical advice from buyers who have all learned the hard way.

The ultimate holiday home

They say no man is an island, but it seems now a select few can be just that. 'The World' in Dubai affords every man his own island in a cluster of islands shaped like the world. We travel with two buyers who have bought a piece of this action and look at what an ultimate holiday home really entails.

We go off the beaten track with South African musician Zolani as she shows us a unique side of Cape Town not found in the guide books.
