(CNN) -- Israel is rarely out of the news and usually for the wrong reasons, which masks the fact that the country is full of business opportunities.

In June, Business Traveller headed there to look at doing business in Israel. Here, viewers share their tips. If you want to send your own comments and experiences by clicking here.

I just saw your special on CNN Travel to Israel. As I have hosted hundreds of business visitors to Israel I would like to provide you with some tips
* When your guest departs Israel, it is very important that the host provides a full itinerary of the visit, including phone numbers and names of persons visited. Company names are essential, since larger companies would be immediately recognizable. This would considerably assist with getting through security at the airport
* Check in to flights early. This can be done at the Central Tel Aviv train station near Ramat Gan. Bags are checked in the morning for afternoon or evening flights. The lines here are generally very short and it does not necessitate the traveler from coming many hours before flight departure.
* Having your host accompany you through security (and speak in Hebrew) usually lightens the interview by security personnel.
I emigrated from the USA 11 years ago. Most recently (past two years), the company I founded has been active in advising Israeli companies going public on London's AIM. The number of foreign companies trading in London is itself a story worth covering. Joseph Sabet Avalon, Israel

I have traveled to Israel for business several times. One useful tip that I have is for business travelers to ask the company that they are visiting (meeting) to write them a brief letter (on company letter head) that states that they were in Israel to do business with that company. I found that this reduces what can be a major hassle when trying to exit Israel. I have been questioned for more than an hour on the times that I have not had a letter. I've also had my laptop disappear for 40 minutes before getting it back. Having a letter from a sponsoring company resulted in me getting through security without all the additional questioning. Hope this is useful. Jim Denneny

Israel is small enough so that optic cables could be used almost nationwide connecting Jerusalem, Haifa and Tel-Aviv. Israel would be an ideal test-site to see the limitations and possibilities of this type of technology. The huge increase in bandwidth would mean it would be a testing site for many new Internet technologies requiring such high speeds. Investors should be abundant and clients nationwide should quickly cover all installation costs. Optic connections throughout Israel would mean that Israel would gain economic value and the technology would affect all future technologies bought and created in Israel. Daniel Leblanc
