Comment: Nandita Das is also known for her stunning performance in a South Indian(Tamil) movie named "Azhagi (2002)". As its heroine ? she amazes the viewers by giving a subdued performance fitting into the mould of a roadside labourer.

Comment: A must see place is the Cottage Industries Emporium at Janpath.

The 4 story high arts and crafts emporium is extremely well stocked and a beautiful place to spend a few hours in! (in the summers the Aircon emporium is most welcome if you have been out on the streets of Connaught Place!)

Comment: New Delhi and India in general is the city of different cultures and different religious beliefs and we in egypt adore the indian movies and their history wth their spicy food and the sari uniform for women. and so thankful for the writer to write about her country to let most of the people have an idea about it.

Comment: This would be a very good time to visit Delhi but one must also ensure a visit to old city which has been the birthplace of many notables of the Indo-Pak Sub-Continent.

Comment: Being the capital of India, The Republic Day Parade on January 26 th is very impressive from the India Gate to Rashtrapathi Bhawan (the President's Mansion). Dont miss the underground shopping mall near Connaught Place, a buzzing Business area. Also visit the historic Red Fort and Jantar Mantar.

Comment: the national museum is one of the best museums i've ever seen. their collections are mindblowing. just walking around the markets you get this amazing sense of being part of a crazy scene - if you can stand the hassle, it's magic, though it did come as a bit of relief when i left.
